OGC Heads to Vegas for the Jam On It Tournament

OGC Basketball is competing at the Jam On It Basketball Tournament at the Las Vegas Convention Center on July 17–19, 2026. This year, OGC will be represented by both our HS and Youth squads as they compete against some of the top basketball programs from across the country.

Led by Founder and Head Coach Mac Guingab, OGC continues its mission of developing young athletes through discipline, teamwork, leadership, and a passion for the game. For many of our players, this tournament marks another important step in their basketball journey, while for others it will be their first opportunity to compete on one of the nation’s biggest youth basketball stages.

One of the biggest storylines entering the tournament is the absence of team captain Nathan Guingab, who is recovering from a torn Achilles tendon and meniscus injury. Although he won’t be able to take the floor, Nathan will travel with the team and serve alongside Coach Mac on the sidelines, helping mentor his teammates and providing leadership throughout the weekend.

Returning to Las Vegas for another run is Demari Ancheta, who competed with OGC in Las Vegas last year and brings valuable experience to this year’s roster.

Making their Jam On It debut for OGC are Aiden, Ethan F., Andrew, Ty, McKee, Ja, Ryder, Chris, Danny, along with two exciting up-and-coming players, Hunter and Dylan. The team is eager to see this talented group compete together on the national stage.

OGC’s younger squad is also looking forward to making an impact in Las Vegas. The team will be highlighted by Grayson, Levi, Jack, Jackson, and JJ, who have continued to develop through hard work and dedication. The tournament will provide these young athletes with valuable experience while representing OGC Basketball with pride.

“Our program has grown every year, and I’m excited to see our teams represent OGC in Las Vegas,” said Coach Mac Guingab. “We’ve got a great mix of returning players and athletes making their first trip to Jam On It. I know they’re excited for the opportunity, and I’m proud of the work they’ve put in to get here. Now it’s time to compete, have fun, and represent OGC Basketball the right way.”
